About Us

Welcome to our cheer family! We are a high-energy, competition and performance cheerleading program, open to both boys and girls starting at age 3 and up! Whether you're a beginner or have experience, there’s a place for everyone on our team. Our program is based in Strasburg and Byers, CO, and we’re all about building a positive, supportive environment where athletes can grow, make lifelong friendships, and have fun while pushing their limits.

We’re passionate about cheerleading, but even more passionate about creating a community where every individual feels valued and encouraged. Our team thrives on spirit, teamwork, and the excitement that comes from nailing a stunt or perfecting a routine. Join us, and let's reach new heights together—on and off the mat!

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: to inspire a love and passion for cheerleading while helping athletes develop skills that will serve them in all areas of life. We are committed to investing in every athlete, nurturing not just their cheerleading abilities but their confidence, discipline, and teamwork.

From perfecting jumps and tumbling to mastering stunts and dance moves, we want all of our athletes to be well-rounded and prepared for whatever challenges they face—whether in competition or everyday life. Together, we’re not just building strong athletes, we’re building leaders and a true sense of community.

Why cheer with us at 70 Corridor Athletics, aka 70COA?

1. We are the smallest competition All-Star gym in the state of Colorado. Because we are so small, every athlete is treated like family. You are never just a number. Athletes and their families build strong relationships with each other and the coaching staff. Everyone is invited to be a tight-knit group, and every athlete is invested in.

2. Every athlete makes a team! We believe in our coaching staff and their ability to teach willing athletes. If you are willing to learn, we will teach you! We have successfully coached athletes all the way from hand stands and forward rolls to layouts and fulls. Our athletes have learned all levels of stunting and aren't limited to skills they compete.

3. In our 6th season, we are offering the following teams to provide the best place for everyone!
~1 full season teams for athletes 6-16 years old. The full season goes from mid June-April. Tryouts are June 17-20.
~2 half seasons Tiny Novice teams for ages 3-6. The first is September-December. The second is January-April.
~Royalty performance cheer for ages 7-19 from September-November. All competition athletes in the program come together, along with recreational athletes, to perform AMAZING routines. We LOVE being able to give opportunities to grow beyond your team levels and acquire limitless skills.
~NEW! Half season novice for ages 7-16 from January-April.
~Adult team! Seniors in high school and up. Open gyms start in September. Dust off those cheer shoes and come get back into it! No prior experience is necessary. Cheer moms and cheer dads are welcome and encouraged to join.

4. Located in rural Byers, CO right off of I-70. It's easy to get to from any Metro area. You can get here from Denver in 45 minutes. That's about the same time you could be sitting at traffic to get to a gym geographically closer to you.

5. As a non-profit, our tuition and fees are much lower than other gyms. All-Star competition cheer is not cheap by any means, and we believe every penny counts. We have partnered with Colorado foundations to help offer scholarships and discounts to ALL families in our program.

6. We support our local communities along I-70 including events in Bennett, Strasburg, Byers, and Deer Trail. You'll see our teams in parades, fundraisers, concerts, and more!

7. We are intentional with our uniform designs to be on the more modest side of the industry with longer inseams and covered midriffs. Our practice gear is shorts and a t shirt. We shop around to find the best gear and OH SO SPARKLY! Many of the things we get are local to Colorado vendors.

8. Our families make up a board of directors that work together to effectively provide great team bonding events, fundraising, communication, team dinners, and everything else required for this crazy cheer world.

9. We offer special classes. We've had professionals put together coed stunt clinics, flyer flexibility, tumbling classes, stunting clinics, and stunt teams.

10. Athletes can compete on their teams as well as individuals. We choose competition event producers that support opportunities to compete as soloists, duos, trios, and stunt groups. It's fun to grow as a teammate while also being able to grow as an individual. We push athletes forward instead of holding them back by offering these kinds of opportunities.
